So Trump's planned 35-45% tariff now shrunk to 5%?

The rubes voted for Trump partly because he promised to impose a 35-45% on imported goods. New all of a sudden the number floated by Trump's team is 5%.
It doesn't matter to Trump. His deplorables elected him, and now the flip flops may begin.

The deplorables are for the most part low information voters who have no concept of truth or reality. He was laughing at them the whole time. He will not bring back jobs. Now he is setting the stage for the rape of our economy by him and his billionaire cronies.

At $10 for 1000 feet, he can do the whole border for less than a couple hundred grand.

It will have no impact on biz. They won't be taking it out of their margin and they certainly aren't going to bring back manufacturing to this country as a result. 5% that will be passed directly to the consumer.

Donald Trump will most likely not impose any tariffs on companies. In addition, he never intended to impose a tariff of 35%-45%. He and his daughter have companies that produce goods overseas. He was never going to do anything that hurt his or his daughter's companies.

The news media should have pressed him more on this issue. What was going to happen to his and his daughter's companies? Were his and his daughter's companies going to be hit with tariffs? Were he and his daughter going to bring jobs back to the United States? How were these tariffs going to affect regular Americans? What companies were going to have tariffs applied? What about the electronics industry? Since there are no, or not many American electronic manufacturing companies would all electronic companies have tariffs place against them, or would those tariffs apply only to Apple?

Since his clothes are all made overseas and Ivanka's clothing line is made overseas, They would have to pay that extra tax.
