Carlson moved on to her recent viral column about Trump “gaslighting” America, and when he said “Teen Vogue, which I guess you write for,” Duca immediately mocked his response by pointing out that, of course, he knew she wrote for the magazine article from which he was quoting.

They then continued to battle over Duca’s contention that Trump is engaging in psychological warfare, and at one point Carlson brought up the fact that she writes about topics like Ariana Grande and thigh-high boots. ....

(She tweeted afterward: ) .@TuckerCarlson is an enemy of rational discourse. In this fraught moment, his bully tactics are profoundly damaging, and achieve nothing.

1. She did a decent job of speaking truth despite his childish personal slams. He was so demeaning.

Betting his closer, "you should stick to writing about the thigh high boots" was totally scripted.

5. A bad assumption on her part.

She said "of course, he knew she wrote for the magazine article from which he was quoting. "
I would say there isn't much evidence attesting to tuckers curiosity and innate intelligence. So she was assuming he knew, but based on his comment he was either being a jerk, or he's a dolt. He's obviously a jerk, but he's never really done anything to dispel the notion that he's a dolt. Logically the fact that he's a jerk does not preclude dolt, and jerk may be a compensation for dolt.

6. She did an amazing job

She should give lessons. There should be media classes on how to handle Fox News hosts if you are brought on as a 'liberal guest' ie. an opportunity to berate and insult you. Because that's how they get ratings....their core viewership LOVES to watch lib'ruls get their asses handed to them, which to them is watching them being bullied and talked over, shouted at and put in their place. She just calmly kept finishing her points.

Too many times a more liberal guest (cannon fodder) falls for the mid-answer sucker-punch follow up question or accusation, where they hesitate, look confused because of the interruption, stop answering the first question and then, at a disadvantage, try to answer the second. And as they do that a third even more outlandish accusation or question is thrown at them, confusing them more, until they have the look of someone that just had a fight with a wild bear, and the host declares victory to the stunned guest before cutting away to a commercial.
