Just don't be a tourist and you will find the good stuff... I did.

(14,858 posts)Kidding. I have strong English ancestry, so that's one of the main reasons. It's also easier since English is the only language that I recall now, having largely forgotten my "foreign language" education in high school years ago.
I visited Germany as a kid (when my brother was stationed over there), but I have no desire to return to a bunch of people STARING at me again!
