His followers, equally as confused by his mutterings, will decide the shortcomings are their own, so Trump must have said something deep and profound.

I actually believe that he was not involved in the hacking simply because he seems to have a very vague idea (at best) of who uses technology, how, and for what. I just can't see him saying this is the plan, we spear-phish Podesta's gmail, then we throw it on a flash drive and meet with Julian's guy......

At least not when it benefits him. I doubt he understands all the technology behind an application like Twitter, but he's happy to use it. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to have a clue as to how the physical world works - and no noticeable interest in finding out.

As far as civil liberties go - I'm with you there.

The intellectual difference was great between the Big Dog and Smirky the Chimp. But Smirky didn't word salad. The orange menace is a distraction his whole self. Not just his tweets. A distraction from what GrOPer Congress and the Evil Cabinet are going to do to us.

Thu Dec 29, 2016, 10:10 AM
Dec 2016

We need to move on from this talk about investigating the hacking of the DNC and blaming Russia. This internet gives us speedier communications but it can never be really secure and there is no way we can ever find out who is doing the hacking.

It could be that 400 pound guy sitting on a bed in New Jersey, or a 300 pound guy sitting on a toilet in New York City. It could be some nasty 200 pound woman in California. We can never know. My point is that if we get rid of private email on the internet , we solve the private email hacking problem.

Then we call all just tweet and you will know what I am saying to you, and even better, I will know what you are saying to each other. That way we will be on the same page
and we can move ahead with our lives-me in my luxurious penthouse at Trump Tower and you at your...wherever.

The senators are planning an investigation of the hacking. After my inauguration I will explain to the senators that they don't need to investigate because it is impossible to find these hackers; that we know its not the Russians-because Russia is our friend and Putin is my BFF; and besides, I have already solved the problem. The senators will agree.
I have to explain to the senators "over time" because my Homeland Security appointee says it will take several months to complete their individual dossiers.

He says does something outrageous then escalates to the next act. All the while people (supporters and detractors) say I can't believe he just did or said that. Incredulity is Trumps only friend while your head is spinning he moves to the next big thing. He will eat up investigations because he knows they happen at a snails pace. Trump counts on people and really poor short term memories.

grammar and proper use of language. Gibberish happens. That's why some people, including myself, try to encourage people to write clearly, spell properly and use correct grammar and punctuation. When we have a President-elect who cannot speak or write in understandable English, we're in trouble, frankly. We're not "grammar Nazis." We're trying to help people express themselves more clearly.

If everyone took the time to read what they write and make corrections before publishing it, we might make some inroads into improving the quality of our communication. It's worth the time. It helps.

Reminds me of gibberish search key word sentences that people used put at the end of Usenet posts back in the late '90's, early 00's - or refrigerator magnet phrase kits. It's certainly comparable with those bits of performance art.
My five year old grand-daughter can construct more coherent sentences on the fly when she's trying to get her thoughts across when excited about a situation.
