So just before I shut off the TV last night,

the story on Rachel Maddow was about the likelihood of Trump appointees not being confirmed. I cannot remember who the guest host was, but the "reporter" who joined in was a young woman named Amber. Amber started her report with the statement that nominees not being confirmed was "super rare". Super rare is the language of uneducated or young people who do not know better. I had to wonder if she studied journalism at Trump U.

If the producer did not review her words prior to this statement that should be done in the future. This was not serious reporting, if we are to expect this level of language for the next four years.......

I am old and educated and really hate the dumbing down of this country. The president-elect sets a very bad example.

To me it's like fingernails on a blackboard. All of the news readers do it, even the older ones. Mika is one of the worst.

How do you grab hold of a listen and take it? It's like the word salad currently being utilized by our GrOPer leaders.
