Teen Vogue writer Lauren Duca gets rape threats after heated Fox interview about Ivanka Trump

A magazine writer involved in a heated debate with Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson over Ivanka Trump said Tuesday she’s received thousands of angry responses, including being threatened with rape on Christmas Day.

The two went toe-to-toe in what became gripping television, with Duca at one point calling Carlson a “partisan hack” intent on not allowing her to speak. Carlson, making reference to pop culture stories Duca had also written, ended the segment by saying Duca should “stick to the thigh-high boots. You’re better at that.”

Duca has been re-tweeting several of the messages she’s received, even with a twist of humour: correcting the grammar, for instance, of someone who wrote “your a scumbag whore.”

As a woman online, she said she’s experienced sexist attacks before, but never on this level. “It feels Victorian,” she said. “It’s very bizarre to experience this firsthand.”

Not all of them but more than a few of them. They don't know how to behave in "polite society". They don't understand democracy, the Bill of Rights or the Constitution even though they talk about them all the time.

Another emotion the coup of 2016 has stirred up in me is that I must re-experience the lunatic, fascist rantings of dicks like Tucker Carlson. (Isn't that--a DICK--what Jon Stewart called T.C. so accurately so long ago? When douche bag Carlson was on CNN? Or was it MSNBC?)

He, and others like him, just won't go away. Despite republicans/fascists being so wrong about everything, every time.

When did this jackass get back on the air? Why isn't he still toiling away in obscurity at his stupid fail website, fake organization?
