In Memoriam - People killed by Police in 2016

The count has reached 1068

One-Thousand-Sixty-Eight

The Guardian maintains "'The Counted" on its front page. Everyday. They keep count and post it. They list and name the people killed by police in the United States. Each state can be looked up to see how many in your state, who and how. I know of no other media source that does this. Thank you to The Guardian for this honorable journalism.

I want to thank the Black Lives Matter movement for bringing and maintaining awareness of police killings. It is making a difference. A deep bow of gratitude.
