He's mucking around in Trump's waters. He lied every time he told the American people that Trump was a good person.

Unless Pence has had time to name some other RWNJ as VP.

Among Trump, Pence, Ryan, and a RWNJ to be named later, Trump might be the least effective at pushing the extreme right-wing agenda.

A doctrinaire John Birchner and medieval dominionist who probably believes it's his "job" to help bring Armageddon about (as many in the GOP do).

As awful as Trump is, I'll take him any day of the week over a freak like that.

I think we've all seen it in our personal lives: it's not the obvious troublemakers one has to watch for, as much the smooth-talking, placating types.

Whereas Trump is your garden-variety buffoon, Pence has always stuck me as a psychopath in church deacon's clothing. A character not unlike the '80s film villain in The Stepfather, capable of almost anything.

If the presidency does fall in Pence's lap (God forbid), I certainly hope you're right.

Pence is worse than Trump.

Trump isn’t the problem – any Republican president would be the problem with a Republican Congress and the current makeup of the Supreme Court.

Pence is a moron and a religious nut but he is a traditionalist.
He wont tweet constantly and he wont be outwardly insane.
He will most likely pull the traditional horrible republican line
not be Caligula calibur.
Plus he can be beaten easier because of lack of emotional investment by maggots fanatics.

Would taint the party as a whole. Yeah we'd get Pence but not for too long. Thinking back on Nixon/Ford (I'm that old), Ford was a good man and not a bad President, but after the whole thing the country had enough of their party and showed him the door. Let history repeat itself.

(I am also that old). There are some similarities. The U.S. electorate has to see open corruption before they act. Remember, Nixon was elected twice. We need to have fair elections as well, or there will be no repeat of those Post-Watergate times.

that if they fuck up enough, in two years we get Congress back.

Sweet dreams imagining either of them with a Democratic Congress.
