I Really Thought That When The Repugs Regained The Presidency &....

Senate & House that they would do all the good things & ideas that they denied the Obama Administration to do.

Just think - they could have won a lot of new support if they passed a public option healthcare bill; if they passed a wide and formidable infrastructure; if they handled the immigration issue the way the Obama Administration proposed; etc. Essentially all the good things we all were for.

Boy was I wrong!!!!

The Republicans get paid lots of campaign money to take the positions that benefit their Donors at our expense.

Good that you are not in denial about it. It is one thing to hope for the best out of people, but do not become deluded to the bad things in human nature. I was once this way and focused too much on the good in people, but reality has a way of biting you in the ass! Now I struggle with not becoming to cynical.

The Republican Klan has not passed a single bill that would help an average working person-EVER.

So really-why would this be a question what they would do when they have actual power....

Easier to just do the job you were elected to do?

Go to Washington, propose and support properly considered legislation that works to benefit the constituents of your district, and the entire country; spend your time working on behalf of the citizens of your district; conduct yourself in a professional, adult manner when dealing with your colleagues, no matter their party affiliation; and show up to vote.

It just seems like the whole crime/corruption/vote theft angle is just so much more labor-intensive. Perhaps I am just lazy that-a-way.

when he was in his 80's after never saying anything political in his life told me that republicans only care about money, and democrats care about people.
Never forget this because it's TRUE.
Think about it.
Have you EVER seen them do anything decent to help people out? They tend to trash the few possessions that the homeless have. Nuff said.

You do realize that they days of decent Republicans are long gone don't you? Today's Republicans wouldn't support some of the few moderate and sane things their Saint Reagan did, let alone George H.W. Bush.

Peace
