I am going to see my oldest 'partner in crime' for the last time tomorrow.

I have known her since 1975 when we began teaching together. She has been battling cancer and all options are gone. Her health is declining rapidly. I think she will be gone before Trump lands.
She was a hell of a Democrat.

This began her saga:

Sometimes the universe is just grossly unfair. I will keep you both in my thoughts, and may she have a gentle passing. Blessings on you both, and may good memories of your friendship attend you.

My oldest (since 1974) partner (wife) had to battle cancer for the second time last fall. It sucks. No two ways about it.

i hope that she is getting good care and pain control now.

sometimes i think the only part of our medical system that works is hospice.
