You have to love the irony about the CIA and Civil Rights at this moment in history.

Well, maybe not "love" but acknowledge the twist that history has played to bring us to this point.

Wasn't it a CIA program that pumped cocaine into the inner cities with the intention of knocking out young black men out of a contention for a normal life? These potential voters were redirected to prison, where felony charges denied them a chance to vote. The GOP only continued a pattern that was in play for decades. By gerrymandering and poll cleansing they removed even more minority voters.

Now, who is one of the CIA's greatest ally in this fight with Trump? Minorities. In other words, Trump wouldn't have happened if it weren't for the policies that have been peddled by our intelligence agencies for decades.

The CIA doesn't take kindly to being second-guessed, especially by high-ranking politicians, especially wannabes who think they can cavort with hostile foreign powers with impunity, so they may well form an alliance with the wannabe's prime targets for his hostilities.
