Christie: 'I will be there' for Donald Trump's inauguration

Of Course he will ! What are the odds Christie will bullishly push and shove his way in full camera view for his moment in the national lime light. And what are the odds he will again force his way in and piss off Trump again !

TRENTON -- Gov. Chris Christie won't be working in the White House when Donald Trump moves in -- but he does plan on being in Washington D.C. when Trump is sworn in as America's 45th president.
During an appearance Friday on Mike Francesa's sports-talk radio show, the New Jersey governor said he will see Trump, a longtime friend and fellow Republican, take the oath of office on the steps of the U.S. Capitol in person.
"I will be there," Christie told Francesa.
The governor and his wife, Mary Pat Christie, are also honorary chairs of the Garden State Inaugural Gala in Washington on Thursday night

I'd say Christy is trying out for Doormat in Chief, but he's too thick. Maybe he's hoping for a commutation of his own prison sentence that's on the horizon.

Trump hires only the best, most experience people for their respective jobs, and Christie has found his niche.

(that covers south Jersey) that he was eyeing a talk radio slot on WFAN in NYC (I remember that station used to be the old 660 WNBC years ago). That idea had been floated this past fall too (the linked article now ironic given what happened with the election). Various reporters from both bordering states have been hounding him about working in the administration and he has waved them away.

he is copying Rendell, who dabbled in sports broadcasting before and after he became governor here over 15 years ago.

That's one thing GOP politicians (and in Rendell's case, DLCers) tend to do more of - broadcasting - (that's where Pence came from) so they can get the propaganda out there in between whatever else they are discussing. Democrats tend to be with the people in person.
