...to give himself a fig leaf of justification to begin promoting the banning of Muslims, persecution of Latinos, or stop and frisk of minorities. His speech pretty much lays down the markers. Now, it is just a waiting game, as he sits back, blows of security briefings, and eagerly awaits the next opportunity to act as a demagogue. Or, perhaps pick a fight with China, while inciting racist attacks on Asian Pacific Americans at home. Trump will govern the way he campaigned, and draw strength from his ability to divide.
