(525 posts)Sally Yates loyalty is to the Constitution, Due Process, and the American People, not to the Treasonous Tyrant Trump. Trump thinks that people in his "government" owe him personal loyalty and to fail to grant that false loyalty is a "betrayal". Yates did not "betray" the Justice Department; she served it, and served it well.
When someone stands up against an Unlawful and Unconstitutional Presidential Order, that is not disloyalty. Rather, it demonstrates loyalty to the Constitution and the American People. No one owes Trump any personal loyalty when he acts in an unlawful and despotic manner. Loyalty should be to our Democratic System, not a Demagogue.
Trump's treasonous denial of Due Process and Equal Protection Under the Law requires loyalty to the Country, not to the Orange Dictator. Trump betrays the Country and the Constitution with his Unlawful Orders. The Legislative and Judicial Branches need to rein this Autocrat in, along with the support of the People.
Impeach Trump.
