(4,858 posts)...if this is just politics as usual--even on steroids--then the term is not appropriate. If you think this is 1776, 1861, 1941--then the term is very appropriate indeed. The latter is my belief.

(2,573 posts)collaborating but I would put it out there that the Democrats are going to put "partisanship aside" and work with their Republican "colleagues" on this nomination. Even though this seat was stolen and our Republican colleagues would not work with us and would not work for the American people we have decided that we are not going to stoop to their level. The we go high when they go low bullcrap. I know most of you don't feel this way.
If Democrats successfully block (which I can't see that happening) then what happens...does Trashbag nominate someone else? It that Pryor guy and people like him that have me very concerned.
