We Need To Push "[Insert Name] for 2018 Versus The Trump Yes Man" Right Now.

As voters and as activists, we need to run ourselves or make clear that we are ready to fight against the re-election of anyone who will be a Trump Yes man, and refuse to hold Trump accountable.

Now, if Republicans get spooked, and start to look into Trump's Russian ties, and demand that Trump disclose his tax returns, then this is good. Otherwise, if they continue to look the other way and ignore Trump's numerous conflicts of interest, his intimidation of the press, his insistence on filling the federal government with cronies over experience civil servants, then they should pay the price.

This not about any specific seat. This is about the whole of the Republican party, which even some conservatives recognize has made a deal with devil. We simply do not have the luxury of waiting until 2020.

...but he dropped out, so I am moving on.

I think Ellison or Perez would be fine, but I am not supporting Democrats for Congress in 2018 because of them. We need people to start thinking about running right now.

and how the place is run. I'd like Dean too, as he used to be, but a number of the contestants have both experience and good approaches to the problems of the day.

...if the DNC Chair turns out to be the next Howard Dean, then that's great. However, even if they aren't, I am not going to let that effect how I feel about a Trump Presidency unconstrained by Congress. Even with Howard Dean, I did not need him to convince to work for a Democratic Congressional majority to oppose Bush.

Working for a Democratic Congressional majority, however, demands good organization. Look what we have, without such.

OBVIOUSLY none of this will affect how we feel about a trump presidency.
