"Fascism forever" was a group the SCOTUS nominee founded and led for four years

in high school. His fascistic leanings go way back.

E. Randol Schoenburg, the Holocaust lawyer who filed (and won) a lawsuit to obtain the search warrant the FBI used to search Weiner's computer for Hillary's emails, posted a link to this Daily Mail piece on his Facebook page, saying: "This is the Neil Gorsuch I met in 1984."

Supreme Court Justice nominee Neil Gorsuch founded and led a student group called the ‘Fascism Forever Club’ at his elite high school, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The club was set up to rally against the ‘left-wing tendencies’ of his professors while attending a Jesuit all-boys preparatory high school near Washington D.C.

The name may be inconvenient for a Supreme Court nominee facing a tough confirmation battle. However it also shows the depth of Gorscuch’s right-wing credentials – and his penchant for mischief while attending his exclusive prep school in the 1980s.

President Donald Trump nominated Gorsuch, a 49-year-old U.S. appellate judge, to replace the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia on Tuesday.

4. Did you read the article? They had yearbook photos of pages listing the groups he was in.

On the bottom left hand corner of each page, they are identified as coming from the Seth Poppel Yearbook Library, a widely used news media source.

2. I've been trying to find confirmation because I don't trust the Daily Mail.

They are hardly more reliable than the National Enquirer, and are fond of sensational, exaggerated stories and fake news. If this is true he certainly needs to explain it, but since the article did not include any actual photos of the yearbook they quote, I'm skeptical. Until some other, more reputable publication produces photos or other confirmation I'm calling it unreliable hearsay.

coming from the Seth Poppel Yearbook Library, an accepted news media source. Look for the faint lettering in the bottom left-hand corner.

7. Unfortunately it's legit and he's a legit true believer more rightwing than Scalia

But his use of that name for his club name was probably meant as a juvenile play on liberals calling conservatives "fascists" so we can expect his defenders to say the club name was only because he was being facetious and just making light of being called fascist by liberals who disagreed with him. "Boys will be boys" stuff.

8. Yes, they will minimize it. But there's also the highlighted quote from Henry Kissinger,

and it's pretty damning itself.

"The illegal we do immediately, the unconstitutional takes a little longer."

9. No question about his deeply ingrained dedication to working against liberal values

That quote is interesting, especially considering the way Trump and his cabal are willing to do the "illegal" immediately while assigning the "unconstitutional" to Gorsuch who has the brains and expertise to develop legal arguments undermining individual rights.
