The upside of this election

I have three conservative friends who are women that are turning liberal before my very eyes.
Their FB postings are passionate and inspirational.
They all have daughters and 2 of them have participated in the marches.
I would like to think that many of us are seeing this.

On edit: all three have SONS who are already liberal.

We have to move forward from this point.
None of them voted for trump.
We need all of the allies we can get.
That's one reason the rift between progressives needs to be healed.
We have the numbers.
We have a common enemy of the state.
We have to move forward.

Can only occur when those progressives that believe they're gonna get everything they want realize that we have a system built on compromise.

Nobody gets everything they want.

I've known many "reformed" Conservatives who somehow still manage to pull the Red lever when the next election rolls around.
