(2,198 posts)removal of sanctions on Russia. The media and the GOP, of course, are more concerned with citizens' resistance to this President and his appointments.
I think this moves really slaps McCain, Rubio, and Graham in the face. It's a Treasury Dept move but it comes right on the heels of Tillerson being confirmed.
Behind every tweet, and every obnoxious statement from Trump is a move behind the scenes to either get closer to Putin or to shore up the business bottom lines of his inner circle. He is a master of diversion and the media are mere pawns as they go chasing after the latest tweet.

3. Russia interferes with our election to the benefit of Donald Trump.
4. Obama places more sanctions on Russia.

6. Trump and Putin have a very nice phone conversation (unlike not so very nice conversations he had with leaders of longtime allies Mexico and Australia)
7. Tillerson gets confirmed.
8. The very next day, sanctions get eased.
Nah, I don't see anything wrong here at all.
