Just one-quarter of Trump voters think climate change is caused by humans

Link to Grist

These findings, from a post-election survey conducted by the University of New Hampshire, suggest that — surprise! — beliefs about climate are split along partisan lines. They also indicate that Trump voters are out of sync with the majority of Americans when it comes to understanding climate science.

At least there’s this: Nearly half of Trump voters said they believe renewable energy should be a greater national priority, according to the survey.

1. Probably some of them think God is causing it, just like God caused Trump to win election

I have heard that several friends and relatives of people I know have stated that God elected Trump.

climate change a hoax or some ridiculous mistake on a grand scale made by so many scientists.

"A hoax?" I ask them, "and just what would be the pay off for that?". They claim huge government grants.

Unbelievable.

The amount of lunacy surrounding this issue is truly impressive.

I am a little surprised that the number is that high.

I guess it is kind of understandable, given that 10 percent of people who approved of Barack Obama's job performance voted for Donald Trump according to exit polls. The fake email scandal did a lot of damage. James Comey did his job perfectly, for his fellow Republicans, if not for the American people.
