(17,984 posts)They just said, "If tRump builds it, we will put a door in it!" Don Small Crowds will not like this one bit.

(2 posts)No doubt there will be many holes punched in this asinine notion.
The wall is such a stupid idea. So stupid.

(1,077 posts)I will be visiting 84 for my next carpentry needs. The video was great.
I have disagreed with a wall since it was first voiced. The Berlin Wall ultimately failed. Nothing good can come to the region with that wall in place. There will be increased in unemployment.
I am a loyal American in opposition. I'm with Nancy, with the utmost of respect. The russians have something on dRumpf. He needs to be impeached.
A homogeneous border area, as it exists, is economically beneficial to both sides.
The focus on jobs and tariffs is a loser. We will never be able to go back to the way things were. We need a national living wage.

(9,313 posts)There aren't any here in WA. Almost wish I still lived in NJ. I'd go to the closest store buy something -- anything.
I've never given them much thought, so I checked out Wikipedia on them. A couple things stood out.
Joe Hardy opened first store in Eight-Four Pennsylvania in 1956.
Daughter Maggie Hardy Magerko took over in 1992. ("Joe Hardy passed 40 percent of the company stock to Maggie that year as well, and added another 40 percent the following year"
Apparently they were hit hard by crash.
On the brink of bankruptcy, Hardy Magerko leveraged her own personal finances, closed stores and laid off thousands to prevent the company from going bankrupt. With the help of the market, Magerkos efforts ultimately proved to be successful...
Most recently, 84 Lumber introduced Tiny Living by 84 Lumber, its new line of portable homes. With competitively-priced, customizable homes under 200 square feet, Tiny Living strives to appeal to the environmentally and economically friendly do-it-yourselfer.
I want a "Tiny Living by 84 Lumber" House!

(32,734 posts)Home Depot, Menards and Lowe's are all run by right-wing jerks. They have put a lot of small businesses in the street.
