Trump Is Definitely Not a Health Nut

Trump Is Definitely Not a Health Nut

February 6, 2017 By Taegan Goddard

Mike Allen: “Aides who traveled with Donald Trump during the campaign marveled at the lax health habits of a 70 year-old obsessed with appearance. Here was a man fixated on his personal brand and look like nobody they’d ever seen. His biggest insecurity, his friends say, was his paunch. And yet he ate and worked out (or, rather, didn’t) like a man who’s slept through the last 50 years of public-health warnings.”

“Sure, Trump doesn’t drink or smoke. But those were about the only health vices he avoided on the trail. He guzzled Diet Coke all day long. Fast food was a constant. The ‘three staples,’ in the words of one aide: Domino’s, KFC, and McDonald’s. Big Macs were served on silver trays in his private jet.”

Here's a guy with piles of money who could be eating like a king, but he's stuffing his fat orange face with junk food. If I were a nicer person I'd want him to take advantage of his wealth to enjoy first-rate gourmet meals, but since I'm not a nice person I want him to keep chowing down on those greasy burgers and fried chicken.

the end result of some injuries, particularly a jousting injury that never healed and became infected. By the time he died his waist measured 53" and he weighed 28 stone (392 lbs.). He became "a comfort-eating paranoid recluse – a 28 stone man-mountain." http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/this-britain/the-jousting-accident-that-turned-henry-viii-into-a-tyrant-1670421.html

Trump isn't quite there yet, though I'm pretty sure he's at least 300 lbs. And he can't blame his weight on a sports injury (though there's that bone spur that kept him out of the Army). But keep eating, Donald. I think he's well on his way to becoming "a comfort-eating paranoid recluse."

Many who knew Henry as a young man always stated that Henry changed dramatically after the two major injuries -- young Henry, even through much of his first marriage to Catherine of Aragon, was charming, intelligent, generous, not overly paranoid or cruel (in the historical context of course). They say he changed dramatically after the two major injuries -- he was thrown during a hunt (so at high speed) from his horse and landed upside-down, head-first in a bog, and he was dragged out by his men after nearly drowning. He developed a horrific migraine that lasted for days and severe fever after this and doctors today have theorized that he suffered a TBI as a result of this accident. His personality changed, and he became prone to "rages" and bouts of extreme paranoia. The joust injury came later (it was so severe that Henry was believed to be dead).

The leg wound caused chronic severe pain, which any pain doctor will tell you changes a person's personality, and was constantly getting re-infected and kept him bed-ridden. The last twenty years of his life, and he died at a youngish age for the Renaissance, were spent in chronic pain and perpetual troubles from the old head injury.

Trump is just a dickhead.

He reminds me of the first wave of big time drug dealers in the 80s urban ghettos, covered in bling, driving tricked out Cadillacs, flashing huge rolls of cash, and still eating at McDonalds because they didn't know anything better.

Neither does he, it seems.

I'd be willing to bet the rent that he's also wearing a girdle in many of his appearances, squishing the flab to make the waistline trimmer. I can tell it by the way he moves--or doesn't move.

Still, none of this trivia has anything to do with his complete unfitness to be in office. It might contribute to his early demise, though.

He's burning the candle at both ends. He thinks when a serious medical problem shows up he can throw money at it until it goes away. He's in for a rude awakeng. It may have worked for Cheney but his time is running out as well. When Trump's number is punched there will be confusion and chaos. He will be hiring and firing doctors right and left because no one is fixing him. The rest of us (and Pence) will be watching from the sidelines.

But I sincerely doubt he's eating fast food in the White House or Trump Tower or Maralago.

That said, the food he ate on the trail sounds like he didn't have proper staff.

It should have been someone's task to get decent food available for him.

I have a FB friend who is so conceited, she thinks the world owes her a trim figure even though she is a food-obsessed sloth. She buys running shoes and rewards herself with a pizza. Fitness is hard work (at least for me). Drumpf wants to just buy it.

slip up for two weeks and it will let you know.

I don't see it as hard work - the hard part is maintaining consistency. I treat it as part of my day - just like my morning coffee - walk for am hour - drills for 30 minutes - and I watch what I eat. We probably have chicken burgers four times a year and a soda is a rare event.

I have never smoked and drank for a few years but quit in the 80s.
My problem was my weight and when I had a PET scan in 2016, they said I had a heart attack.
Im a 58 year old female.
It can happen to anyone at any time.
Its going to get him in some form.

His obesity plus the stress of the presidency, which Trump has never experienced in his life (never was a governor or anything remotely close), will be rough on Trump as he ages into his seventies.
