appointment to the NSC. Call!
"Hi my name is ______. I am an American citizen of (zip code) and I am opposed to Bannon on the National Security Council."
THAT'S IT! took me 20 seconds.
Call and leave a message! You don't have to talk to anyone. The Senate Committee on Homeland Security is taking calls about Bannon's appointment to the NSC.
You can call: 1-202-224-4751.

Just as the appointment of other white house aides to the NSC and/or the Principals Committee hasn't required confirmation in the past (and that's including aides who were more clearly named as members of the NSC that Bannon was in Trump's EO).

I guess it can't hurt, but there were the same posts after the election saying that "a friend" said that the white house is counting calls about having a recount. If the Senate has no say in the NSC, they're not going to step in now and I wonder if they get flooded with meaningless calls if it detracts from times when you actually could effect change.

He may not need Senate approval, but every phone call demonstrates citizen unease with him sitting there and citizen awareness that this is not normal. Even if they start onboard with him, a large volume of calls can plant seeds of doubt that can come to fruition later - perhaps with his removal through back channels.

I said anyone who ran an anti-Semitic and racist website should be nowhere near the National Security Council, or even anywhere in the White House.
