What a turncoat he has turned out to be. He is no longer a politician anymore, but a Fox news commentator. Good riddance.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Dennis Kucinich, the liberal former congressman and mayor of Cleveland, enjoyed President Donald Trump's inaugural address Friday.
"GREAT #inauguration speech @RealDonaldTrump!" Kucinich tapped out on Twitter soon after the speech. "Congratulations & best wishes from Dennis & Elizabeth Kucinich watching from Beirut, Lebanon," he added in the tweet, which included American flag emojis.

"Donald Trump's message of unity is critical at this moment," he wrote. "I call upon all Americans to join in a common effort to create a great vision for our country, our people and for peace in the world. Let's give him and ourselves a chance."

Kucinich, throughout a political career that included two long-shot White House bids, styled himself as a populist Democrat. He lost his Cleveland-area congressional seat in 2012, after GOP-led redistricting pushed him into the same territory as Rep. Marcy Kaptur of Toledo.
Since then he has worked as a consultant and appeared on Fox News Channel as a contributor. In 2015, he spoke at CPAC, an annual gathering of conservative activists.

And in February 2015 at the conservative CPAC conference:

Now working as a commentator on Fox News, Kucinich told the students he does not believe either political party is "really delivering" for the American people, and said he does not have confidence in Hillary Clinton as a Democratic candidate in 2016. He said he's not on board with any of this year's presidential candidates.
Kucinich, who regularly appears at liberal political events, said this is his first trip to CPAC. Even though it was an event for conservatives, several audience members asked to pose for pictures with Kucinich after his onstage appearance.
"I feel comfortable here," Kucinich said, noting that he worked with both political parties in Congress. "I feel comfortable being anywhere."

And he told Fox news in late July that, in light of the DNC emails, Bernie should withdraw his endorsement of Hillary.

Kucinich also called the DNCs actions indefensible and said he thinks its time for Sanders to withdraw his endorsement of Hillary Clinton as the Partys nominee for president.

(92,190 posts)Congress. He voted to criminalize partial birth abortions, deny servicewoman the right even to pay for their own abortions overseas, prevent Washington from funding abortions for poor women, and against federal dollars for RU-486 research, and was even against health coverage of basic contraception for federal employees. In 1996 he opposed Roe V Wade.
When he decided to run as a progressive Democrat though, he waffled all over the place on his past record.
I always had doubts about him

(43,049 posts)He was a putz, but he told them what they wanted to hear. Kinda like how Bernie worked, but Bernie did it better and actually affected the election. (although not necessarily for the better)
Now he's broke and has to get a job with Fox.
Fuck him.
