We have history and data on our side

The problem is the for-profit media that tells people what they want to hear and not what they need to hear.

And the people keep electing them because they like to be placated.

And they elect people who will shut down the media who will tell them the truth.

When people realize that the media has to be responsive to their advertisers, so they cannot be trusted to cover certain issues, it will be easier to move forward.

Advertisers like insurance companies, investment firms, and pharmaceutical companies will always look good on the TV because they do all the advertising. They will always get to choose their candidate. They will always have veto power over stories on the news.
