BREAKING: Diabetes and Obesity Sharp Rise Predicted in The US

(For the humorless, this is satire.)

With Amway cultist and benefactor Betsy DeVos now occupying the offices of the headquarters of the Department of Education, it is a sure bet that funding to public schools will dry up. In the past, even in Democratic administrations, funding to schools was always pretty spare. Public school teachers had to actually dig into their own pockets to buy school supplies.

Well now it will be far worse, as funding is diverted to the Christian versions of madrases and various and sundry other incarnations of "better" schools (i.e.: not overrun with pesky brown and black children).

So what about Obesity and Diabetes, to say nothing of tooth decay?

Bake sales.

There will need to be TONS of bake sales to pay for basics in what will be left of public schools.

I said this was satire.

Maybe it isn't.
