She wasn't impugning a Senator, she was speaking to the lack of qualifications of a cabinet appointee, as it is the Senate's responsibility to do.

Criticisms of previous presidents are allowed and encouraged.

Criticisms of President Bannon are not allowed.

We've always been at war with Eastasia.

Three quick thoughts, and one longer one.

1 - This is going to be a painfully long 4-years.

2 - Facts are not impugning someone.

3 - McConnell made this an issue, which was a political mistake.

Note number 3 as this empowers even more of the voices to be heard, because they (Republicans) will whine about how unfair any anger might be. This may be the worst strategic political move in decades.

We still outnumber them, we've just suffered from chronic apathy in the past. They're helping erase that issue for us now, and I thank them. Be drunk on your power Republicans, I encourage you to continue over reaching in your power drunken stupor. You're just helping to increase the medias attention on an issue previously not in the average voters outrage spectrum.

Educate the undereducated masses, GOP. Show them who you really are. Expose yourselves in your power drunk tirades and tantrums. Link yourselves, beyond a doubt, to Trump and his methodology. I dare you.

Because they fully intend to do the same to us. Telling our representatives they're not allowed even to speak is just the beginning. The fascist, eliminationist, white nationalist rantings of talk radio -- the stuff the beltway establishment always assured us was just "entertainment" -- now wield the Presidential pen and the Senate gavel. This is Weimar politics circa 1931. If we manage to claw back power, our first and only priority needs to be erasing them and dismantling their power structure. Any talk of "bipartisanship" or "compromise" should be grounds for immediate expulsion from the party.

Corretta Scott King's 1980's letter is devastating to Sessions.

The Republican Senators who did this are despicable.
