Breaking: Progressives sweeping New Mexico school board elections 'bigly' statewide

The results are coming in but the results are already clear: this movement isn't just about resistance in the streets - we're voting, too!
In Albuquerque, candidates endorsed by ProgressNow's Progressive Champions PAC, ATF (Educators' Union), Equality NM and community groups swept all four races - turning away Tea Party challengers each time.
In Las Cruces, progressive voters responded to the last-minute negative attacks from Gov. Martinez's PAC by turning out to elect our Progressive Champions in all three races, including two targeted by Tea Party candidates and big business donors.
In Gallup, all three candidates endorsed by labor and progressive groups won (including one who easily defeated former State Rep. Sandra Jeff who tried to stage a come back as a school board candidate).
Congrats to all of the re-elected and newly elected Progressive Champions!
This is the first big test of the new progressive movement and it will definitely get attention!
