Trump is hurt because he thinks the media back-stabbed him. Which they did.

What does the media thrive on? Ratings!
What brings ratings? Outrage!

During the campaign, the media gave Trump endless coverage because he was the outrageous, controversial guy who got them ratings.
And he thought he got that coverage because he deserves it or because they like him...

Then his Presidency began and Trump kicked it off by being outrageous, even before his inauguration. The media was still looking for a narrative how to sell him to the audience, what kind of tone to use in stories about him to attract ratings... Will he pivot? Will he become boring and presidential? Will he tone it down?

Instead he became a gift from God: Outrage.

Neverending Scandal. Neverending Outrage. Neverending Chaos. Neverending Controversy. Neverending Drama.
More. MORE. MORE.
That's the narrative. That's how he accidently defined his own administration and that's the narrative the media keeps pushing. And the media has no interest in switching to a different narrative because anti-Trump-outrage brings ratings. The media will ride this out as long as anti-Trump-outrage brings ratings.

And Trump?
He thinks the media back-stabbed him. One day they adore him and the next they brutally criticize him non-stop??? Traitors!!!

He is angry at the press because they gave him a taste of the preferential treatment that he demands, and then they revoked it.
He strikes at them. Outrage! They strike back. Outrage! He strikes back. Outrage! They strike back. Outrage! A neverending cycle that the media can milk for ratings.

Trump's Presidency has already been defined. He doesn't realize that, but his reputation is already carved into stone.
Bill Clinton was the feel-good President.
George W. Bush was the dumb President.
Obama was the black President. (I clearly remember how Fox News tried to define him as a failed President right after his inauguration, but the rest of the media pushed other narratives and it didn't sink in.)
Trump is the chaos-outrage-scandal-drama-crisis President.

Which is absolutely perfect for ratings.

His mouth, usually...bleeding out ignorance by the gallon.

He is still bleeding and the Press is still covering it. Only now, the blood is red and very real.

evil agendas (Bannon, Miller, Kushner, et. al.). While the media pushes its narrative, these evil men can unleash a lot of darkness on the country and planet.

We must not rest until he AND THEY are stopped.
