Back in the day, my wife made a "Death by Chocolate" cake

Choc. cake made in several layers
Big bowl to fit layered cake
Between each layer Kool Whip with crushed Heath bars
Each layer soaked in any kind of liquor (preferably choc. flavored or hazelnut)
Topped with soft caramel and spun sugar

Diabetes is a bitch
