Paul Ryan says, new corporate tax cuts will be made PERMANENT!

This was his declaration during a PBS news interview (2.8.2017). He was chatting away that they are working hard on the bills they plan to push through this year, highlighting they are making the new legislation's PERMANENT. That's right. They are making up some language in the bills so that their agenda can NEVER be overturned. That is their plan anyway.

If they do this with our voting rights, we will have republican rule installed. This is my fear. Elections and voting is the only way to get back some balance with Democrats in power too. I just hope we are not too late.

are able to vote and pay attention to what the criminals are doing.

These bills are designed to take what little the average person has and give it to the oligarchs.

Our Medicare and Social Security are next, they will be taken and soon. What YOU and ME will do about that, is what I am wondering.

Tax laws, whether they have sunset clauses or not, are subject to the next budget negotiation.

Laws can be rescinded and repealed. They are "repealing" Obamacare, we can repeal their bogus tax laws.

They are not enshrining them in the Constitution for fuck's sake.

They control 33 state legislatures & just did this. Voter disenfranchisement - the aspect of 'voter fraud' that the media never reports on.

House Republicans Just Voted to Eliminate the Only Federal Agency That Makes Sure Voting Machines Can’t Be Hacked
Republicans would make it easier to steal an election by killing the Election Assistance Commission.

https://www.thenation.com/article/house-republicans-just-voted-to-eliminate-the-only-federal-agency-that-makes-sure-voting-machines-cant-be-hacked/

In a little-noticed 6-3 vote today, the House Administration Committee voted along party lines to eliminate the Election Assistance Commission, which helps states run elections and is the only federal agency charged with making sure voting machines can’t be hacked. The EAC was created after the disastrous 2000 election in Florida as part of the Help America Vote Act to rectify problems like butterfly ballots and hanging chads. (Republicans have tried to kill the agency for years.) The Committee also voted to eliminate the public-financing system for presidential elections dating back to the 1970s.

“It is my firm belief that the EAC has outlived its usefulness and purpose,” said Committee chair Gregg Harper (R-MS), explaining why his bill transfers the EAC’s authority to the Federal Election Commission.

Thirty-eight pro-democracy groups, including the NAACP and Common Cause, denounced the vote. “The EAC is the only federal agency which has as its central mission the improvement of election administration, and it undertakes essential activities that no other institution is equipped to address,” says the Brennan Center for Justice.

This move is particularly worrisome given reports that suspected Russian hackers attempted to access voter-registration systems in more than 20 states during the 2016 election. Moreover, the Presidential Commission on Election Administration set up by President Obama in 2014 outlined an “impending crisis” in voting technology and the Brennan Center found that 42 states used voting machines in 2016 that were at least a decade-old and at risk of failing. The EAC was the agency tasked with making sure these voting systems were both modernized and secure.

making money -- the maximum amount you can -- then you're an irresponsible deadbeat and society doesn't owe you a thing. You as an individual have that freedom of choice. Oh, unless you're gay, lesbian, a woman, African-American, etc., etc., in which case, by nature, you are a lesser anyway and you don't have that freedom.

Unless we enshrine it in the constitution. It can always be overturned. What he probably meant is that there wont be a sundown provision to make it expire like the previous ones.

the changes will be permanent instead of temporary. For instance, some of the Bush tax cuts were temporary, for example the estate tax repeal expired in 2010, with the tax reverting to its prior level. This was used as a scoring device so it wouldn't show deficits ballooning due to their cuts.

The new cuts are supposed to be revenue neutral (on the corporate income tax side), but congress can still change it in the future.

Otherwise they can only use reconciliation and get 10 years.

As noted above, there are no permanent laws. The hardest ones to overturn are Constitutional Amendments, but those have been nullified by later Amendments.
