by "weak president" , he's assessing that the President losing makes him look weak and that's not a good thing.

Of course the President is solely responsible for this, he signed a shitty EO.

I can't bear to watch him so I haven't for months. Sorry Tweety that the judges ruined the thrill up your leg.

He really had a hard-on for GW Bush on that aircraft carrier, had a tingle up his leg.

that is claimed. Except for about 3 hours of programming, the rest is mostly republican talking points.

Remember it was MSNBC who was the first network to report as "breaking news", that the email investigation had been reopened. That was a LIE, they then proceeded to parade every right wing politician across their screen to propagate that lie for the next hour before the other networks joined in the big lie

On occasion, he seems to lose touch with reality and sees some Napoleonic character out there in front, on his white stallion...

Matthews folds in the face of power. His end comment last night strongly favored Trump's bone-headed position on the travel ban and despite how he rewrites history, Matthews was all in on Bush's "Mission Accomplished" nonsense, practically wetting himself over the optics as GW flew onto the aircraft carrier and proclaimed: Victory in Iraq.

It was unseemly then and it was unseemly last night. If he reiterated himself tonight (wasn't watching), it's just one more black mark on Matthew's flawed political perspective.

Greta Van Susteren is bad enough. Matthews is chalking himself up as the 2nd worst pundit on MSNBC. If I want to hear rot, I can tune in Fox News. Bring Jpy on. Then I'd be happy. She takes no bloody prisoners.

Enough already!

Not sure where it comes from, but Matthews does seem enthralled with those who are willing to be bold, however wrong their boldness may be. Ergo, he' ll be a sucker for Trump.

Does not speak well of Matthews's depth or judgment.
