(I'm cranking out pussyhats and putting them in my Etsy store). Since I have yarn other than pink, I'm making hats with that too. In terms of marketing them, is there any progressive causes that I should put in the description?
The only ones I can think of are green for environmental (or weed) and rainbow for LGBT.

(34,648 posts)We used to have yellow dog dems and stuff. I would make one in each color and see if they sell. I bet you could get republican women to buy red ones if you put them out there. It seems like the pibk is a solidarity thing to me though. It was nice seeing that sea of pink hats.

(17,984 posts)that is charcoal with a pink stripe. That is my dream hat. I'm a white, middle-aged male, and I can't get away with full on pink. I can, however, pull off charcoal with a pink stripe.
And, to be quite honest here, I think that a lot more men would want a pussy hat if they were in a neutral color. As long as there are ears and a little pink, I'm down.
