Wipe your nose off, Tweety. You've got orange poo all over it.

(3,335 posts)it came on. Only to piss me off again later when I heard him discussing with Dem Elijah Cummings the letter that he and Repugnant Jason Chaffetz sent to the Office of Government Ethics regarding Kellyanne Conway telling people to buy Ivanka's clothing line, and Tweety asked him was he serious and really trying to get her fired. And did he really think she was trying to sell clothes from the White House. He then again asked if Cummings was trying to get her fired, because he said, "You know that would be the only remedy that the Ethics Office could impose. " And he said it twice, with Rep Cummings pretty much ignoring that statement the first time, and the second time he said it, Rep Cummings said that, "No that is not the only remedy." He stated that there are other actions that could be recommended by the OGE including reprimand her, a suspension, or firing. But what really pissed my off is that Tweety seemed to hold Cummings in contempt for even wanting to admonish her for her actions. He said she was obviously doing it to please her boss. Yeh Tweety, so that makes it right? She was trying to please the orange man. She's a lawyer. She knew exactly what she was doing.

MATTHEWS: Does he have sex appeal? Im looking at this guy and Im trying to find out the new order of things, and what works for women and what doesnt. Does this guy have some sort of thing going for him that I should notice?
***
MATTHEWS: Gene, do you think theres a sex appeal for this guy, this sort of mature, older man, you know? He looks sort of seasoned and in charge of himself. What is this appeal? Because I keep star quality. You were throwing the word out, shining star, Ana Marie, before I checked you on it.
***
MATTHEWS: Can you smell the English leather on this guy, the Aqua Velva, the sort of mature mans shaving cream, or whatever, you know, after he shaved? Do you smell that sort ofa little bit of cigar smoke? You know, whatever.

(35,378 posts)on the Muslim ban. He is world class ass and a slobbering fool. Now he has a Rethug trying to use reverse psychology
on the Democrat's demonstrations saying they won't work. There was a Rethug on one of the shows spewing that same
bullshit last night. Apparently it (is) working since the Rethugs are sending out their goons saying it won't.

(20,998 posts)...and let's be truthful, the Dems, progressives, the left, haven't really had the passion over the last 40 years. THAT HAS CHANGED.
I believe this is more than a movement, and I believe we have the power to change history for the better. It is NOT going to be easy.
I have been watching how they are trying to talk it down while, comparing it to the TEABAGGERS some trying to pretend that they are the same.
They all say "Lets see" as if to say its about nothing. I believe some are Trump voters.

(20,998 posts)...at least the ones that have reached their tRump* epiphanies early on in the game. If you truly love this country -and you are capable of cognizant thought- you MUST come to the conclusion that tRump* and his administration are not good for this country.

(50,254 posts)and essentially admitted, during the fall campaign, that he wanted the race to be close in order to force Hillary, if elected, to adopt most of Trump's immigration policies.
To my knowledge, he has NEVER apologized for that stance or acknowledged his role in causing this situation.

(10,842 posts)Matthews definitely fits into the latter category. Not sure who will win the prize on MSNBC as the biggest Trump apologist: Van Susteren or Matthews. Matthews' comments tonight on the 'power of presidency' in terms of the current immigration ruling (he obviously questions the legitimacy of the 9th Circuit's decision) was gag worthy. He backpedaled somewhat at the end, saying he was merely stirring debate.
Too late, Chris. I'm switching to CNN between 6-8 pm. Greta lost me early. Can't follow it up with your power adulation.

(6,933 posts)always has, always will. If I remember right just as Bush.IDIOT was sworn in Tweety was telling everyone on his show just "how much better the Country runs when a Republican is the President."
Wonder what he was saying by 2004 with an illegal FAILED War and then in 2008 with the Country teetering on the edge of the second Great Depression.
