Sanders: Trump is 'delusional,' says he could move US into 'authoritarian mode'

Washington (CNN)Sen. Bernie Sanders says he doesn't like calling President Donald Trump "delusional" -- but believes the President's actions call for it.

Sanders told CNN's Erin Burnett on "OutFront" Friday that although he is considerably more to the left than many of his fellow senators, he has never "just attacked people because their views are different than mine."

But Sanders said Trump, whom he called "a total hypocrite," put everyone in "a new era."

"I use the term 'delusional' with regard to Trump when he said there were 3 to 5 million 'illegals' who voted in the last election ... That is delusional," Sanders said. "Nobody in the world believes that is the case. There is zero evidence to back it up. But he makes that statement. So I think the word 'delusional' is correct."

Pootie says nice things about him so he just assumes it's real and thinks he's his friend and doesn't even consider he's just being played by the master spy.

don’t take issue with the fact Trump is a liar is as sad as it is disturbing – and of course comes as no surprise.

He more than likely has some version of this psychological malady. He fits every single check list of symptoms I have ever seen. Whether he has ever had a full psychological or psychiatric evaluation or not, he has a long track record, played out on a public platform to evaluate his behavior. Many people who have interacted with him in business, socially and personally have commented on what those interactions were like. The picture they present is not good. And then we have months and months of his presidential campaign, interviews he gave and of course, his Twitter account.

Long story short: we have a man in our highest elected office who suffers a serious psychological disorder and has for most if not all of his life. He has probably committed criminal acts as a result. The elephant in the room is HOW MUCH LONGER will this be allowed by the American people and the authorities who can intervene to stop him before he causes permanent harm to our nation?
