encouraging others to turn in any illegals they know of. We need to name such jack***es 'TWITLER YOUTH'. It is so 1930s to get everyone to play a roll in scapegoating. Don't let them get away with deputizing scores of civilians into the aspirational policing roles they have secretly always dreamed of. Sharing grievances (and getting followers to begin acting out on them) and getting their followers to follow their secret aspirations (and acting out on them) is how psychopaths get people to follow a 'certain path'.

2. I tried to get obvious Russian pro Trump ops banned at the discussionist

during the election. There were a ton of ops that were Russian propaganda. None got banned. Seems the juries are loaded with alt right types. So frustrating.

PS. Don't call out the administration. They do a great job when alerted.

... that the owner of Discussionist should be aware of what is being posted on his wholly-owned website without having to be "alerted".

And if anyone is posting anything encouraging their fellow citizens to "turn in their neighbours" - in the same way good Nazis encouraged their fellow citizens to "turn in Jews" - and the owner of that site doesn't shut them down, that owner is complicit in promoting that action.

"I had NO idea what was actually happening" wasn't a plausible excuse then - and it's not a plausible excuse now.

We are adults here. Actually we are not all adults. The people who posted ICE phone numbers have been schooled by right wing radio and alt right websites to grow down till they are little baby men looking to act out to try and be big men. Twitler Youth they are for sure. Nobody has a problem with dangerous criminals being deported. Going after illegals who are neighbours or just known to be illegal is just cruel. As it is meant to be. To train people in how to be cruel. So they vote GOP.

One look, when it was only in existence for a week or two, was enough to turn me off forever.

Juries may allegedly be comprised of "peers" - but the site is STILL wholly-owned by one person, who has the ability to remove posts and posters at will. That sole owner is not accountable to anyone, and is under no obligation to abide by any "rules" whatsoever.

3. Don't despair. Flood them with our message and educate the swamp dwellers.

Everything must be challenged. If we only complain abut them without countering their arguments and misinformation, they win again. I like to force them to have deal with reality. They read what we post even if they don't admit it. We don't have radio stations that reach them like RW-talk shows do. The only way many of them will get some information and real facts is from our comments and responses on their boards.

8. Social media is the best weapon we have

Out these people whenever and wherever you can. Practically everyone has a cellphone camera. When you see somebody giving someone a hard time in a supermarket for using food stamps (we've all seen it), take it to social media and out them. When you here about someone encouraging others to violence, let the world (and their neighbors) know about it. If you hear about a teacher at your kid's school pushing neo-nazi intolerance or revisionist history, see that they're fired. People like this need to checked at every opportunity, lest we see the Joe McCarthys and Archie Bunkers in our society take us all back to those dark places we should not go.
