Dawn of the True Know-Nothing Administration
Led by a man who has no knowledge of the Constitution of the United States, the Trump administration has doggedly appointed people who know nothing of the areas in which they are supposed to lead. To head the Department of Education, he has appointed a person who cannot spell, and has never worked in public education in her life. As his Director of National Intelligence, he has appointed a man who has collaborated with the Russian government to engineer the election of Trump. As the head of the State Department, he has appointed a corporation man with zero experience in international diplomacy.
Continuing on that theme, he has appointed a man with zero knowledge of urban development to the Department of Housing and Urban Development. To head the Department of Energy, he has appointed a man who previously campaigned on shutting down that very department. To serve as the Ambassador to the United Nations, he appointed the former Governor of a state best known for closing the bathrooms of that state to many people.
And so it goes, on and on. We are witnessing the installation of a government of the unfit, unsuitable, and uninformed. Welcome to the United States of Trumpland. May the odds always be in your favor.
