Take a look at the words of Jennifer Palmieri who warns on Huff Po about Dems being overly progressives, although she mentions that many people are "desperate."

"A former aide to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama cautioned the Democratic Party against moving policy to the left in response to the wave of public protests targeting President Donald Trump, telling MSNBC: You are wrong to look at these crowds and think that means everyone wants $15 an hour.
"I actually think the real energy is not just with the base. These are apolitical people that are turning out, Jennifer Palmieri said in an appearance on Chuck Todds show last week. Palmieri served as communications director for both the Obama White House and Clintons presidential campaign.
"Clinton campaigned on a $15 minimum wage as part of the Democratic Partys official 2016 platform."

Bull-pucky about being moderate in the face of the lies, and misstatements of the Right and the Middle.
A great person to listen to about the need for stronger progressivism is economist Mark Blyth. Take a look at him on Youtube at:
And also listen to him on the most recent Jimmy Dore show (on 2-10-17) at: http://thejimmydoreshow.libsyn.com/

(14,167 posts)Part of her job was to clearly communicate the campaign's message to the everyday person. That involved making Hillary likable across the political sphere and she totally failed at that. It could have been done.
I really don't want to hear much from those top tier campaign staff members except for the words "I'm sorry."

The only thing that matters now is Personality.

It is my hope that we learn from the 'Trump experience' that celebrity is not an asset in politics.
I'm sure that's just wishful thinking.

(Yes, to be a decent person you have to believe in a certain amount of economic justice ... and that's progressive)

This stupidity is exactly why Hillary is not President.
