2. And the Mexican government is considering

not buying corn from the US, which would be extremely damaging to the farm economy (especially in states that voted for Trump). http://money.cnn.com/2017/02/13/news/economy/mexico-trump-us-corn/ Mexico is the biggest importer of US corn - $2.3 billion worth per year. Mexico is now threatening to buy its corn (and they use a lot of it) from South America.

Trump doesn't understand that he can't just bigfoot other countries and expect that they'll just roll over for him and won't fight back in some way.

3. That's the least of the things they can do

If they want they can make life very difficult for the US. From withholding water in shared reservoirs to refusing to cooperate with anti-terrorist or cartel efforts, they have a lot of tools at their disposal to be less than courteous neighbors.
