How long before Trump is "Out Like Flynn?"

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-newsnow-flynn-idUSKBN15T1GE

Tuesday Morning Briefing: Out like Flynn

Digits of the day: 24 - That's the number of days into the Trump administration before the first top-level resignation. The person was Michael Flynn. The post was national security adviser. And the reason was that he discussed U.S. sanctions with the Russian ambassador to the United States before Trump took office – this after promising otherwise to Vice President Mike Pence. Such contacts could run afoul of the Logan Act, which bans private citizens from engaging in foreign policy.

Here are some remaining questions:

- Are Flynn's contacts with Russian officials the reason President Vladimir Putin declined to retaliate when the United States imposed additional sanctions on Russia in the waning days of the Obama administration?

- Did Flynn act alone, or did someone higher up in Trump's circle instruct or authorize, tacitly or otherwise, these interactions?

2. He would NEVER resign. He would actually have to be impeached. It is not like this creep is as

mentally as stable as Nixon.

3. What would be so great about impeachment?

The 'alternative' is Pence, why would that be any better?

6. I was not addressing that. I merely claimed that Chump would never resign IMO. Your point is a

whole different discussion.

4. I heard someone on radio this am

say that the only link between Manafort, who quit during campaign because of Russia controversy, and Flynn is Trump. All roads lead to Trump.

7. No doubt

But I thought it was a pertinent fact to mention for building a case against Trump.

8. What did the President know and when did he know it?

24 days in, and the question has already been popped. The flaming crash of his Royal Highnie has already begun.

https://www.rawstory.com/2017/02/what-did-he-know-and-when-did-he-know-it-david-gergen-asks-when-trump-knew-about-flynn-blackmail-risk/

Saying “This is very serious,” former White House adviser David Gergen invoked the ghost of the Watergate cover-up after it was reported that President Donald Trump was warned Gen. Michael Flynn was a possible security risk subject to blackmail by the Russians.

Late Monday night, the Washington Post reported that the Trump White House had been warned that Flynn was a risk by acting Attorney General Sally Yates — an opinion seconded by former CIA director John Brennan and former director of national intelligence James R. Clapper.

Yates was famously fired by Trump for failing to back his immigration ban on Muslims and refugees.

Discussing the bombshell report, Gergen, who wrote former President Richard Nixon’s resignation letter, said the report is a major development and could impact more than Flynn.

“David,” a stunned CNN host Anderson Cooper said to Gergen, “It doesn’t stop. We don’t have the reporting on this, it comes from the Washington Post.”
