The asshole Republicans are all over the TV trying to make this about Flynn's "lie" to poor innocent widdle Donny and those nasty leakers. We can't let them frame the narrative this way! 😡

1. Ultimately they can't disassociate Flynn from Trump.

Keep pulling at the threads. I don't think anyone believes Flynn went rogue.

2. Exactly. Flynn is the key that unravels all of the Russiagate corruption.

The actions that led to his resignation need to be exposed in detail. It's a chain of a whole bunch of shoes dropping, one after another. And it all leads to Trump and his inner circle and Putin.

5. I keep going back to Watergate, where the initial focus was on

the "burglars." But when the FBI investigated the break-in they discovered a connection between cash found on the burglars and a slush fund used by the Committee for the Re-Election of the President (aptly called CREEP). This led to evidence of the involvement of the Attorney General, John Mitchell. Bernstein and Woodward and other reporters kept tugging on the threads, and eventually discovered that the cover-up went all the way to Nixon. It took awhile, but finally all the pieces were put together.

Even though the GOP is stonewalling and pretending there's nothing wrong, they did that at first with Watergate, too. The truth will come out eventually.

I say that *everything* goes back to DRUMPF, that all of the truly DEPLORABLE people he surrounds himself with are the low quality scum who are the only ones willing to kiss his ass, like the second tier and below has-been celebs willing to do it on his reality circus. The whole bunch are flawed in all categories of morality/immorality, greed, cravenness, everything. Nothing "ends" with FLYNN or any one of them to come. It's all him.

And while we know tRump gave Flynn the go ahead, we also know Flynn took one for the team and the rest of 'team traitor' is going to catapult the propaganda to try to make it appear Flynn acted on his own and tRump was just an innocent bystander. Trump's followers will believe anything he says. Trump was right when he made the statement that he could shoot somebody on 5th avenue and not loose his supporters. His supporters are brainwashed phucks who consider tRump to be their messiah. It's up to the Democrats to make sure this does not go away and that tRump is investigated and charged with treason along with all of his cronies. It makes me sick to think we are so close to being taken over by Putin. Every appointment tRump makes is to undermine exactly what they are supposed to be protecting.

9. This was my big fear earlier,

that the perception of Flynn being the bad guy who went rogue to the horror of Trump & Co. was going to get legs.

I just watched Anderson Cooper, and he and others are asking outright if the phone calls to the ambassador came at the direct order of the so-called. We already know they were, of course.

Was Trump dumb enough to order Flynn directly without using a go-between? Probably.

Then they had Trump supporter Jeff Lord on, saying that Spicer will "get the hang" of being WH presser, that Conway was "making a joke" about buying Ivanka's stuff, and that the reports of the WH being in disarray are complete inaccurate. Anderson and the other guy weren't having any of it. Anderson also said if it were Clinton, Chaffetz and others would be foaming at the mouth (my words)

Anyway, the news headlines the next few days should be fun.
