Trump must make an address to the American people from the Oval Office

This is one of those times. He's less than one month in office, shit is hitting the fan and their strategy is to assert that what's important is that someone tossed shit at the fan? That's so juvenile it's making things worse.

I don't know what he can possibly say to us. Lie, deny or resign. I don't care at this point. The inevitable is waiting for him at the end of this saga. But he can't expect guys like Spicer to clean this up at pressers. I expect that eventually Flynn will be spilling his guts to save his ass.

I am also hoping Trump has a stroke.
Also hoping the republican party finds a spine.
also hoping Spicer gets a clue and realizes he is being used as a pawn.
Also hoping the Democrats prepare for full on war.
Also hoping this all ends soon cause I just can't take the ineptitude of our representatives.
And maybe, just maybe, Bannon will implode.

Don't think I could watch an address from our asshole president.

I've seen a couple of presidents speak from the office. It either elevates them or takes them down. In this case, it's the elevator down for Trump's arrogance.

I want to watch him pay for every crappy thing he's asserted about minorities and for every pussy he grabbed that didn't want probing by his hungry little fingers. I want him to pay for every bit of our national security he's compromised. And an address like this is a start.

He was just on CNN and said that Trump needs to address the nation. If not Trump then someone in high authority. But I can't think of a soul in his administration who could come forth with a statement that could save Trump's sorry ass.

So, imo, it has to be Trump and it has to be soon. No hiding behind the Netanyahu visit, either.

Things are heating up way to high for him to hide from this next step.

I was gratified to hear this brought up late last night on CNN by Wesley Clark. It's what president's do. Voices should be clamoring for him to meet this obligation instead of trying to reduce our expectations. Normalizing his personality traits is dangerous as has been an ongoing discussion here in the forums.

I think that at that point we knew Nixon was heading for the exit door. Even with this "quickening" we're experiencing, I'm not sure how soon Trump will find the egress.
