All Other Presidential Candidates Traditionally Made Their Taxes Available....

it is not an invasion of 45Pees privacy to view his taxes. It should be a prerequisite to be able to run for the presidency and becoming president. Why are the Repugs protecting 45Pee here? Have they already seen his taxes? What do they know? If there is no there there - why not release his taxes?

He's broke and his taxes will show it. He's dumb as a rock but probably still smart enough to know that you don't lie to the IRS. The billions he talked about on the campaign trail will shrink to millions (if that) on his 1040.

He's a grifter and his taxes will show it.

45 has putin paying off his debts for him, thus putin wants the oil deal to go through in Siberia, thus making his money and making Russia a powerful country again to contend with, and the US out of the way.

They made a deal with the devil. They let him put his brand name on their run-down failing hotel and now they're stuck with the deal. They have two options...buy into the alternative fact that all this is just the necessary business as usual to "clean up" after BHO or turn into the Atlantic City Taj Mahal...empty and hollow waiting for the wrecking ball to knock them over.

They're stuck with him now for better or worse (and it's going to get worse).

If Trump's administration goes down in the history-books as being puppets of Russia, then it will also be mentioned that he was the republican candidate and that no Republican stood in opposition to him.

Just like the Tea Party co-opted the GOP and drove the moderates out, Trump co-opted the anti-establishment stance of the GOP. He turned their anti-establishment screams against them. They too are the establishment that he railed against.
Trump is the buffer between the GOP and the anti-establishment voters.
If Trump goes down, the anti-establishment voters will shift their anger towards both parties.

And the Republican Party no longer is the Grand Old Party.
They are no longer by any stretch the Party of Lincoln. With the Southern Strategy and the KKK's endorsement of trump, that is gone forever.
The Democrat Obama was more of an Eisenhower-Republican than any contemporary actual Republican.
And the Party of Reagan?
1. The people who voted Reagan into office are 55+ years old nowadays. Today's voters don't give a shit about Reagan.
2. It's funny how Reagan was THE Cold War President but today's Republicans are drooling in lust for a bullish Russia headed by a merciless ex-KGB-agent.

The problem of the GOP is that nobody's in charge anymore. There is no leadership figure anymore. They are all a bunch of greedy cowards who are in it for themselves. Proof? Easy:
Just look at the last three elections: The Republican primaries offered each time nothing more than a dozen of uncharismatic, bloodless, empty suits.
Trump won his primaries because he had a pulse, because he had fire.
Clinton had fire.
Sanders had fire.

Who else among the Republicans has this fire? Who among them can excite the masses?
Pence? Jeb? Rubio? Carson? Giuliani? Paul? McCain? Gingrich? Cruz? None of them.
The Tea Party exorcised all moderate elements from the GOP and the only ones left are spineless weaklings and rabid fanatics.

The Republicans are the party of patriotism! The Democrats hate this country!
... Except it's the Republicans who are suddenly associated with treasonous activity.

The Republicans are the party of national-security! The Democrats are weak!
... Except it's the Democrats who are foreign-policy-hawks now while the Republicans only want for this whole thing to be forgotten.

The Republicans are the party of the little people! The Democrats are elitists!
... Except that the Republicans now have a billionaire-President with a Goldman-Sachs-administration. Who wants to take healthcare away from those little people.

The Republicans are the party of economy! The Democrats know nothing about money!
... Except that the Great Recession happened under GWB and foreign investors are already withdrawing from the US because of Trump's instability. During Trump's administration, there will be a short boom on the stock-market driven by Wall Street-enthusiasm, followed by an economic downturn when the investors realize that this stock-market boom was not the forerunner of an actual economic boom.

The people in rural USA believe in the Republican Party religiously, because of decades of propaganda. But propaganda only lasts so long when money and livelihoods are at stake. Just ask the Soviet Union.
