with pre-existing conditions. So don't bother to touch the hem of his robe, or suffer your little autistic children to come unto him, or lower Grand-Pa on a pallet through a hole in the roof. He also doesn't throw out demons from prosperity preachers or corrupt republicans.

Hadn't seen this. Thanks for posting.

As a one-time evangelical fundamentalist christian, I weep.

Peace.

Some of his sheeple sure seem to think he's the second coming!

Someone (here?) has already speculated that the ShitGibbon is an anti-christ, if not the anti-christ. I'll leave that discussion up to theologians.

Almost hoping that the Rapture does happen, so these non-devout Xtians wake up one morning and realize that their sky-daddy royally fucked them over!

Almost!

Their ideology has become Randite objectivism with a veneer of "personal responsibility" and "family values". They say that when the government helps the needy it is stealing from hard working families and rewarding irresponsible people. They blame the poor and disabled for being poor and disabled.

That is not Christian. But they are blinded by their greed.

They are also very shortsighted. Crushing people impoverishes a nation's best resource: its people. Creating enormous gaps in wages and wealth divides a nation. They don't have the imagination to see that personal responsibility is easily rewarded at the same time as the needy can be cared for. A nation's greatness is not measured by the richness of its oligarchs (plutocrats), but by the care it provides for all its citizens.

A Democracy Of The People is only one if it takes care of the people.

But I agree, something more direct would make sense.
