Contact between Trump campaign and Russian intel officials would be 'game changer,' Sen. Lindsey Graham saysBy Morgan Winsor Feb 15, 2017, 8:22 AM ET
Sen. Lindsey Graham today called for a broader bipartisan investigation if its true that Donald Trump's campaign communicated with Russians in the year leading up to the 2016 presidential election.
"If there's contacts between the Trump campaign and Russian intelligence officials outside the norm, thats not only big league bad, thats a game changer," Graham, R-S.C., said in an interview on "Good Morning America."
He continued, "Because if it is true, it is very very disturbing to me and Russia needs to pay a price when it comes to interfering in our democracy and other democracies, and any Trump person who was working with the Russians in an unacceptable way also needs to pay a price."

(2,434 posts)definition of "outside the norm". What kind of "norm" would there be for a campaign to be communicating at ALL w/ Russian intelligence?

(2,434 posts)by the use of "outside the norm". Somehow they will try to normalize having contact "inside the norm" and then never define what that might be. Newspeak

(7,432 posts)What is this? Graham is framing Trumpy as a hapless VICTIM???
Lindsey, my boy, do you have a problem with Trumpy's behavior? Do you think that the US has problems to address on its own when Trumpy goes whole hog with teaming with Russia to defeat Clinton???
if you have a problem with all of this, why divert attention to big, bad Russia? Why not stay close to home and deal with Trumpy? HE made the decision to have Russian intervention! It wasn't Flynn. It wasn't War Club Bannon. It wasn't Propaganda Barbie. It was Trumpy!

Don't even bother punishing Russia. You can't punish the zombie virus for infecting your crew. You deal with it by purging those affected and not letting it spread or affect your healthy people.
