I just read the entire article and I feel a chill deep in my bones that I don't think I'll be able to shake any time soon:

If this article is correct, it will take decades in my opinion to clear all this up. The writer is a British blog-writer for the Guardian.
Summary: Russia set up Weiner so that they could easily have his laptop seized/investigated when they needed to. Trump advisors likely knew - think Guiliani's glee on that Fox news segment about something big coming.

She's not just some random on Twitter. She has a bit of crazy history in Conservative UK politics.

(She's claiming that the hacker group "Crackas With Attitude" is a Russian front.)
The Cyrillic for "Union of Soviet Socialist Republics" is CCCP. The English "USSR" would look something like "YCCP" in Cyrillic.
In any case, there might be something here, but be aware that Louise Mensch has a history of being dotty at best. (She's also a Tory, whatever her current status is vis-a-vis the Guardian.)

(1,777 posts)"CWA" DOES work as a pun -- but for the Russian acronym for "United States of America." In Cyrillic, it looks like "CWA."
Love that word and very appropriate in this case.
I think I started following her Twitter after the "Greece deserves" it thing.
She has made some interesting assertions to be sure, but there is something about this one I can't stop thinking about.
