Great job, CBS Scott Pelley

(was going to post yesterday..)

On the CBS evening news, he reported on little Donny's event. And one by one, each point that was raised, he rebutted it.

Electoral votes, approval rating, contact with the Russian, "inheriting a mess".

Here are more comments from now

He told the facts as buttressed and confirmed by official factual records, and did not add or detract with his inflection.

He simply and concisely reported the facts of the various matters aroused in the news of the day, leaving viewers free to have their own intellectual and emotional reactions to the vituperative shitstorm of anger and lies that flew out the mouth of the republican tax & draft dodger in chief.

Thank you Mr. Pelley. Mr. Cronkite would be proud of you.

Carry on.

I now only watch the CBS nightly news. I used to watch NBC but they are very bias.

which, after the first half hour with journalist Norah O'Donnell it is downhill with fluff. And now they are adding Oprah to "60 Min." Uggh

and he actually applauded tRump on talking to all the reporters in the room.. With press dumping on the prez, I guess he got some brownie points from the white house for that..
Could not watch the presser ... I get my info from late nite talk shows.. much more entertaining and just getting the gist of what went on....

Makes Trump sound so normal. Remember Eisenhower taxed the rich (at 90% to pay for the war which no other Republican has been willing to do, they worship tax cuts for the rich) and warned us about the military industrial complex (the GOP worships them now).

Trump is no Eisenhower.

Edited to add, I think his point about Trump is used to snapping his fingers and getting his way. Having his three kids and all his minions do all the work. Makes me want to hear the Apprentice tapes all the more. Bet he sounded like a petty dictator.
