Trump reportedly shouted at CIA director after hearing intel reports are being withheld: CBS

"CBS News is reporting President Donald Trump shouted at CIA Director Mike Pompeo after hearing news stories that the intelligence community is withholding information from him.

According to previous reports, intelligence operatives were said to be holding back the information because they believe any information given to Trump will find its way to Russia.

“Our Intelligence Community is so worried by the unprecedented problems of the Trump administration — not only do senior officials possess troubling ties to the Kremlin, there are nagging questions about basic competence regarding Team Trump — that it is beginning to withhold intelligence from a White House which our spies do not trust,” wrote former analyst for the National Security Agency Jack R. Schindler.

The Director of National Intelligence flatly denied this was happening and Pompeo released a strongly worded statement saying the same."

Please hear me out before jumping to conclusions. Let me say, first and foremost, that I can't stand Trump. My concerns extend well beyond Trump, though...

We've created an Alphabet soup of agencies. Most of it was under Bush. As much as I hate Trump, I don't like the idea of the CIA becoming a political weapon. It's dangerous.

Imagine if Hillary won, and the CIA decided to actively sabotage her? I don't like the precedent here. This can and will be used against Democrats as well if we don't reign it in. That shouldn't matter, though - this is dangerous to our country and its citizens. The CIA should always answer to the government.

They need to listen to Trump and give him Intel. It may get to Russia, but they can't be doing this. If you think Trump is a monster, the Godzilla of the CIA's power would make the Trump admin look like a roaring mouse.

Don't forget about other threats. Trump isn't the only one. If allowed to work unabated, the CIA and NSA alphabet soup orgs can and will consume us.

I know - "they destroyed Hillary, too!" (Well, the FBI, but same problem). That's just proves my point. The CIA is becoming a rabid dog. We need to get it under control.

We can resist Trump. We don't need or want the CIA. Don't sell your souls over to Satan (figure of speech) for the gratification of taking Trump down. We need to remain focused.
