Speaking of "fake news," did anyone watch CBS coverage of the rally?

I watched on CBSN this morning, they re-ran parts of their coverage from last night. The reporter was standing in front of a half-empty aircraft hanger, lots of floor space visible, while saying the crowds were "massive," just as Trumpsky had expected. Meanwhile, I'm reading the news and the Melbourne police reported only 9,000, 40% fewer than last time Trumpsky appeared in Melbourne. The reporter also said it was a very positive rally, with "no protests," even as several hundred people were gathered outside protesting.

Nothing to see here, move along! Our Glorious Leader Trumpsky will tell you the truth!

The largest protest Brevard County has had since Iraq War, 2003. My wife and my bassist were at the protest (I stayed home with my daughter and cooked dinner).

So proud of him. Brevard County is a very red area, and Bill Hausman, by CBHS science teacher, was the first person into the "first amendment zone," and started the rally by painting "Fake Prez" on the ground near the entrance (according to Florida Today's account).

Our local news also did a disservice. They showed footage of the tail end of the protesters, indicating not many showed up. I'd say about 1,500 did show up, which did my heart good as I live in Melbourne.

I also think the 9,000 figure was accurate, though rumors have floated dt paid some of these folks to show up, and we did see shuttle buses carting people there.

We were a lively, positive bunch showing what democracy looks like!

As soon as I can figure out how to post pix, I will.
