There are others contacting them with information/docs, etc. It seems to me that they are getting the right pieces of information out there and other reporters are picking up on it.

Anywho, she has mentioned this Khanoisseur person again and again as being one of THE top go-to people during this whole Putin/DFT nightmare, so I wouldn't be surprised if much of what's being posted here is....pretty reliable.

She's out to do the same in the US.
Edit : I should also have added that as well as being pro brexit, she's the editor of the Rupert Murdoch backed Heat St. I wouldn't trust her.

(9,068 posts)The article below. It's interesting. I definitely do not support her views or who she works for or has worked for but I also won't throw the baby out with the bath water. I will however keep a closer eye on what she posts knowing more about her background.

(9,068 posts)that can be found at the FEC online, etc. Which shows they are trying to source as they go along.
They are working from the dossier info.
Right now they are finding super pacs linked to McConnell and Rubio that got donations from a Ukrainian mentioned in the dossier.
Whoever they are, it looks there they are talking to each other and trying to untangle and piece together how everything fits and links to Trump. It's a hell of a job to do and it's really interesting watching them connect the dots. I set up a twitter account to follow Joy Reid and other reporters and journalists. Malcolm Nance and Joy (I think) retweeted from a couple of the researchers which led me to them.
They're trying at least.

(2,771 posts)I have been following them on Twitter. Although I'd had an account for a while, I've become addicted lately. I don't think I'm easily duped or a raging conspiracy theorist. Much of what's posted is backed with documentary evidence. Some seems far fetched but solid. That's the nature of this story. Some seems beyond the pale, but, again, this is such strange territory. I've concluded that I am educated, aware, skeptical and that I will continue to read these tweets. If they pan out, even a little, I think they may be hero investigative reporters.
chowder66
(9,068 posts)even if they are off the mark in some cases. At least they are trying to source everything from what exists.
Imagine how hard it must be to link all of this information without it sounding like a conspiracy. Then again everything is writing itself when it comes to Trump.
I admit that I haven't combed over everything carefully - there's too much! However, I see them tweeting to each other and people like Malcolm Nance and Joy Reid, etc. who are engaging with them.
There are stories popping up left and right as well... so either other journalists are working on their own front and/or using the research to produce articles.
If some of their investigation turns out to be valid I hope they get recognition - if they want it.

(9,068 posts)to Hillary. At that point I asked the tweeters about them donating to her and they responded that she wasn't implicated or involved with Rosneft which is what they are focusing on. All the Russian connections that lead back to the Dossier in one way or another.
The donations may be why Ryan, McConnell, Rubio, etc are reluctant to investigate Trump's ties.
A report has been compiled by Scott Dworkin and published in google docs with corroborating info/evidence.

(9,068 posts)It would be a big bummer to volunteer all of that time and end up with a dud.
Though looking through some of this stuff it truly is amazing that no one has ever been able to prosecute Trump or had the will to.
There are stories all over from old to fairly recent that are seriously troubling. Some we know, some have been buried but it's good to see the bigger picture being painted.
